Mechanical / Electrical Breakdown Towing

No Claim Form is required to be completed.

If you have broken down due to a mechanical or electrical fault and you need a tow to the nearest repairer you can either arrange for the tow yourself if you know of a tow company nearby, pay for it and then submit a copy of the account to us (fax or email is okay) and we will reimburse you in accordance with the limit under the policy.

Or

If you need assistance in arranging a tow you can ring 1800 731 912 (a 24/7 service through Ken Tame Assist). They will then need the following information, your location, length, height and weight of your vehicle to be able to arrange the appropriate towing service. You will need to pay for the tow then submit a copy of the account to us (fax or email is okay) and we will reimburse you in accordance with the limit under the policy.

If you provide your bank details when submitting a copy of the account we will then EFT the refund directly into your account otherwise a cheque will be sent to the address we hold on file.
